Day 2....

Right, so day 2 has come and almost gone.. am feeling ok! I promised to weigh myself today... so I did this morning... 134 kg.. or 294.5 pounds....

According to the scale various component masses are thus:
  1. Body fat is 31.8% (i.e. 42.612kg of the yellow stuff)
  2. Water is 49.8% (i.e. 67kg of H20- given that water is a constituent of fat an muscle I assume this percentage  takes into account the % of water in the fat and muscle figures too, otherwise it makes no sense)
  3. Muscle mass is 34.2%  (i.e. 45.82 kg of the red stuff)
  4. Base metabolic rate is 2529kcal

 I stuck to my plan and even did a short 3km jog (2 miles). Unfortunately that old ankle injury came out to remind me to take it easy otherwise I would have carried on for 5km. but by the 3km it was making itself known in an all too familiar way- sharp stabbing pains, that 3km where enough for the day.. ah well. c'est la vie!
